Kelsey Publishing Ltd is a UK based, privately owned publisher of special interest and enthusiasts’ magazines and books. They have around 100 employees with offices in Peterborough and Maidstone, Kent.
The company was incorporated in 1989, led by the current Chairman, Gordon Wright.
Tractor & Machinery, launched in 1994, is the world’s best selling tractor magazine, exporting to over 80 countries worldwide. The magazine has a loyal band of subscribers, a significant number of whom have been with Kelsey since the launch. Their strong sales with Tractor & Machinery led on to further successful launches in this sector, notably Classic Plant & Machinery, Old Tractor and Classic Massey & Enthusiast.
In the competitive motoring sector, they now publish 16 magazines, led by a winning trinity of classic car titles: Classic Car Buyer, a weekly buying and owning publication; and Classic Car Mart. In addition, 4×4 Magazine and Custom Car are long-established and continue to perform strongly. Over the years, they have become specialists in producing one-make motoring publications for real-world enthusiasts with leading titles including Jaguar World Monthly, Modern MINI, MG Enthusiast and Triumph World. In addition, their commercial vehicle titles – Classic Van & Pick-up, Classic & Vintage Commercials and Classic Military Vehicle outsell their rivals and have a hugely loyal readership.
